Mary Ann Blair, 85, of Piqua went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 5:17 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1940 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the late Ora Lee Clay. She married Therrel Blair November 13, 1957 in West Point, Mississippi; and he preceded her in death September 16, 1978.
Survivors include seven children, Therrel Blair Jr. of Twinsburg, OH, Shirley (Danny) Jones of Piqua, Elvin (Brenda) Blair of Appleton, WI, Tony (Bonnie) Blair of Florida, Cynthia Smith of Twinsburg, OH, Maxine (Matthew) Quamina of Cleveland Heights, OH, and Christine (Bruce) Gregg of South Euclid, OH; eleven grandchildren, DeAnte Blair, Keshia Blair, Kyle Blair, Brittany Dangerfield-Mathis, Isaiah Blair, Shamar Thomas, Camille Smith, Seth Blair, Chelsea Smith, Claudia Brunn, Kevin Smith, Jr., and Allison Hazlett; 21 great grandchildren; and a sister, Bernice Hatton of Aberdeen, Mississippi; her aunt, Alice Boone of Euclid, OH, and her special friend, Robert Godsey, Sr. of Piqua, OH.
Mrs. Blair was a devout member of Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for more than 25 years as an inspector for Orr Felt. After retirement, she enjoyed gardening, reading, listening to music, watching old westerns, going to the casino, playing Spades with family members, but most of all, telling everyone about the good Lord.
A service to honor her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. BA Gregg officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. also on Saturday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
