PIQUA, OH – The City of Piqua will host a public meeting to provide updates on the Hydraulic Canal and Dam Safety Project from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Fort Piqua Plaza Banquet Center, located on the fourth floor of 308 N. Main Street.

City of Piqua staff, in collaboration with Stantec Consulting Services, will present the latest findings from project evaluations conducted over the past year. The presentation will cover key components of the city’s water infrastructure, including Swift Run Lake, Echo Lake, Franz Pond dams, and the connecting hydraulic canal system.

The public meeting is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to engage residents in shaping the long-term vision for this critical water system. Topics will include infrastructure constraints, financial considerations, and regulatory compliance with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Dam Safety standards.

Notice is hereby given that members of the Piqua City Commission may be in attendance. Community members are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and provide input.
