PIQUA – One Piqua resident is starting the week with life-changing news after winning the $300,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off game Feeling Lucky.
According to lottery officials, the winner will receive $216,000 after state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent are withheld.
The winning ticket was sold at S&G #110, located at 402 W. Hoewisher Road in Sidney.
Feeling Lucky is a $10 Scratch-Off that offers players the chance at the $300,000 top prize. As of August 14, there are still two top prizes left in the game.
Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education throughout the state.
