PIQUA — The Piqua Police Department kicked off this year’s Careful Corners program on Monday with a full day of hands-on safety education at Washington Primary School.
Officers worked directly with students to teach important lessons about traffic, pedestrian, and personal safety, helping them prepare for the upcoming school year through interactive demonstrations and activities.
The department thanks its many partners and sponsors for making the program possible, including: Piqua City Schools, Piqua City Schools Transportation Department, Piqua Fire Department, Miami County Dispatch, Bike Piqua, Atlantis, Awesome Piqua, Walmart Piqua, The Piqua Community Foundation, Piqua Education Foundation, and EPSilyte.
