Rebecca Ann “Becky” Elliott, 70, of Piqua was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Buckeye Forest of Piqua. She was born June 27, 1954 in Piqua to Elsie R. (Curtner) Hutchinson of Piqua; and the late Richard E. Hutchinson.
Survivors include three children, Amy (Carol Shelby) Smith of Piqua, Mike Smith of Piqua, Melissa Walker of Raleigh, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Jesse Elliott, Rebecca Walker; two great grandchildren, Raiona, Wyatt; and four sisters, Brenda (John) Ford of Piqua, Connie (Mark) Miller of Piqua, Sherri (Richard) Cantrell of Houston, and Terri Cutcher of Piqua; along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her infectious laugh and “motherly” love. She was preceded in death and now rejoicing in Heaven with the love of her life, Ray Elliott; a nephew whom she raised as her own, Brandon Elliott; and her beloved grandson, Johnny Walker.
Becky attended Piqua Central High School. She went on to work at Evenflo for many years before working for and retiring from Kroger where she managed the salad bar for over 25 years. Becky didn’t know a stranger and would give you the shirt off her back. She loved listening to music, dancing, and watching her soap operas. She will be remembered for her love and compassion for others as well as her incredible sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends.
A private service to honor her life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
