MIAMI COUNTY, OH — April 6, 2025 (1:00 PM) — Flood conditions across Miami County are gradually improving, with several roadways reopening as waters continue to recede. However, the Miami County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is urging the public to remain vigilant and avoid driving through any roadways still covered by water. Conditions can change rapidly, and hidden dangers such as erosion or debris may be present even after water levels drop.

Roads Now Reopened:

  • Bradford Bloomer Road – Klinger Road to Horatio Road
  • Markley Road – Rangeline Road to SR 571
  • Piqua-Lockington Road – CR 25A to Brokaw Road
  • Piqua-Troy Road – Peterson Road to Statler Road
  • Troy-Sidney Road – North of Troy city limits to the railway line
  • Deweese Road – Polecat Road to Peterson Road

Roads Still Closed Due to High Water:

Western Miami County:

  • Versailles Road – Union Church to Bradford Bloomer Road
  • Covington Bradford Road – Rangeline Road to SR 48
  • Panther Creek Road – Rangeline Road to Cooper Road
  • State Route 48 – Between Covington and Pleasant Hill
  • Horseshoe Bend Road – SR 48 to Greenlee Road
  • Fenner Road – SR 48 to Stichter Road

North of Troy to Piqua:

  • Eldean Road – Both sides of CR 25A
  • Piqua-Lockington Road – Brokaw Road to Clevenger Road
  • Landman Mill Road – Just east of Hardin Road

East of Tipp City:

  • State Route 202 – SR 41 to Tipp-Elizabeth Road
  • Tipp-Elizabeth Road – From Tipp City limits to SR 202
  • Rudy Road – Near Elizabeth-Bethel Road
  • Tipp Canal Road – Evanston Road to Old Springfield Road
  • State Route 571 – From Tipp City limits to SR 202
  • Sullivan Road – Ross Road to US 40

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution in areas where water and debris may still impact travel. The Miami County EMA continues to monitor the situation and will issue further updates as conditions improve.
