PIQUA, OH – The City of Piqua has issued multiple emergency street closures due to standing water and debris following recent heavy rainfall.
Effective immediately, the following areas are closed to through traffic:
- Robert M. Davis Parkway at Commerce Drive intersection
- Cromes Drive and Patrizio Place (from Garbry Road to West Statler Road)
The roads surrounding these closures are open to local business traffic only. City crews are currently working to clear debris from the intersection of Robert M. Davis Parkway and Commerce Drive.
With additional rainfall in the forecast, these closures are expected to remain in place until at least the morning of Monday, April 7.
Motorists are urged to plan alternate routes, avoid flooded areas, and use extreme caution while traveling. Stay with Piqua News Now for updates as conditions change.
