PIQUA – This morning at approximately 9:05 a.m., a brief power outage occurred in the City of Piqua due to an issue at Substation 5. The outage affected portions of the city’s east side as well as areas located north of the Great Miami River. The Piqua Power Supply team responded quickly and efficiently, resolving the problem within 18 minutes. By 9:23 a.m., power had been fully restored to all impacted customers. City officials thanked residents for their patience during the short disruption.
