PIQUA — The Piqua Police Department launched its “Police in the Parks” summer series this week with a lively game of gaga ball at Pitsenbarger Park & Sports Complex. Officers and local youth enjoyed the friendly competition and sunshine, making for a great start to the community outreach program.
The fun continues next week with a game of wiffle ball on Tuesday, July 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., also at Pitsenbarger Park. All youth entering grades 4 through 8 are invited to come out, play, and connect with local officers.
