The day is expected to begin dry, warm, and humid, but storm chances will increase by the afternoon. The primary threats include damaging winds, heavy rainfall, lightning, and the possibility of small hail.
According to the Storm Prediction Center, parts of the region — including areas near Piqua — are under a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather on Saturday. The remainder of the area is under a Level 1 risk.
