Patricia L. Stephan, 92, of Piqua, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born November 17, 1932 in Piqua to the late Orville and Agnes (Rein) Huffman. She married Wendell L. Stephan April 19, 1953 in St. John’s Church; and he preceded her in death December 5, 2017.
Survivors include three children, Rebecca (Michael) Pethtel of Piqua, Harley (Kimberly) Stephan of Piqua, Christine (Dennis) Copeland of Troy; six grandchildren, Sarah (Chris Wilcox) Ammon, Daniel (Wendy) Pethtel, Kathryn (Andy Pickrel) Stephan, David (Emily) Stephan, Andrew (Elizabeth) Stephan, Brian (Lindsey) Copeland; fifteen great grandchildren, and expecting one more; seven siblings, Orville (Eva) Huffman Jr. of Sidney, Lawrence (Melodie) Huffman of Covington, Douglas Huffman of Crown Point, Indiana, Constance Wagner of Piqua, Melody Wise of Covington, Candice (Garry) Leapley of Sidney, and Jacqueline Kinnison of Sidney. She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Ellen Brokaw, Jack Huffman, William Huffman, Deanna Brumbaugh, Linda Boyer, Thomas Huffman, Nancy Dunn; and a daughter, Debra Culley.
Mrs. Stephan was a 1950 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She worked for many years as the secretary and treasurer of W. L. Stephan, Inc. where she was involved in many facets of the business. She was a long time member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and enjoyed her Women of Life Bible Study. She enjoyed cooking and looked forward to any opportunity to spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her loving family
A service to honor her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Reke officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
