PIQUA — The Piqua Veterans’ Association invites the public to a Memorial Day parade and ceremony on Monday, May 26.
The parade begins at 9 a.m. near Piqua Central Intermediate School and ends at the Veterans’ Memorial by Forest Hill Cemetery. A ceremony will follow at 10 a.m., featuring Navy veteran Robert Hartzell and performances by the Piqua High School and Civic Bands.
This year’s grand marshals are volunteer firefighters from Covington, Fletcher, and Lockington, recognized for their service to the region.
The community is encouraged to attend and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.
