BILL E. BROWN

68069a926ca76

Bill E. Brown, 70, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Buckeye Forest Nursing Home. He was born November 20, 1954 in Piqua to the late Elmer and Lucy (Hiestand) Brown. He married Karin (Robbins) Brown August 13, 2004 in Troy and she survives.

Including Karin, Bill is survived by three sons, Gabe (Stephanie) Swallow, Samuel (Natasha) Brown, and Kaleb (Myranda) Brown; six grandchildren, Caitlin (Jacob) Herzog, Mason Swallow, Ally Swallow, Noah Brown, Elijah Brown, and Chloe Brown; also many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Jim Brown.

Bill attended Bradford Schools and worked for 50 years as a welder, 25 years at the former Aerovent and 25 years for Hartzell Fan. Bill was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed tinkering and making things for friends and family. He could fix or “rig up” anything to solve a problem at home or for others. Bill loved to collect knick knacks, and had a wide ranging collection of various things. He loved to wheel and deal, and would readily make a trade or strike a deal with anyone who would listen. He enjoyed feeding the squirrels and the blue birds, shoot guns, fish and hunt. Bill was an avid believer in Bigfoot and aliens, and if he had the time and resources we think he would have found Bigfoot. Bill’s personality and love of life will surely be missed by all who loved him.

A service to honor Bill’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Humane Society. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com.
