PIQUA, OH – The City of Piqua has announced the appointment of RJ Monnier as the new director of the Power System Department.
Monnier brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in utility services. Since 2021, he has managed the Piqua Utility Business Office and previously served as a district member service supervisor for Pioneer Electric Cooperative.
In a statement, Monnier expressed enthusiasm for his new role. “I am honored to join Piqua’s outstanding power system team and continue delivering the high level of reliability, service, and value that residents expect,” he said. “Piqua’s Power System Department is a recognized leader in public power, and I look forward to building on its strong foundation.”
City officials highlighted Monnier’s extensive experience and commitment to service as key factors in his selection.
